Anyone know if this is true?

Elspeth
MyGardenSchoolElspethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16904797436099911538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4308870389641491679.post-39238444123554625202011-08-11T08:02:15.122-07:002011-08-11T08:02:15.122-07:00You should be getting plenty of vitamin C from all...You should be getting plenty of vitamin C from all of those yummy tomatoes.

I haven't harvested anything this year, but enjoyed watching you and others harvest. I'm dying to try them. Hopefully, they will germinate. I love the Beefsteak, they're great slicers and make great Salsa.Rhonda Gales https://www.blogger.com/profile/10237938674910908032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4308870389641491679.post-31809399130106049752011-08-10T23:03:43.331-07:002011-08-10T23:03:43.331-07:00Oh and I have a glass top stove too. The Brandywine has fewer blossoms, smaller tomatoes, more crinkled, and the thing doesn't have a bloom below the 4 foot level. The only thing I'm waiting to see about is taste. The red beefsteak has bigger fruit and more of it. Have you tried this Cherokee purple they are all blogging about?Beeks by the Lakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12592978205053247507noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4308870389641491679.post-7858634949693874952011-08-10T19:56:17.464-07:002011-08-10T19:56:17.464-07:00Your tomatoes look incredible. I have no idea when my Red Beefsteak or Brandywine will be ready. I did trim and weigh my garlic. 9 lbs. That's on my blog today and in the next few days I'm sharing how I can my green beans. I've put up 20 quarts now. I've harvested 1 squash. hah. It's an exciting time of year, isn't it?Beeks by the Lakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12592978205053247507noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4308870389641491679.post-2235947002868337002011-08-10T10:26:15.505-07:002011-08-10T10:26:15.505-07:00@Ann, I do have a good Salsa recipe. My plants are loaded with tomatoes and peppers. Should be able to harvest 3 or 4 more bowls of tomatoes and peppers. I have 200 ears of corn that I will be freezing and several bushels of greenbeans. I'll be planting peas and carrots shortly to harvest this fall.Rhonda Gales https://www.blogger.com/profile/10237938674910908032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4308870389641491679.post-53962435980286870292011-08-09T06:31:00.138-07:002011-08-09T06:31:00.138-07:00Food can be beautiful to look at as well as eat. But I think we started the seeds too late. The plants are very small. Pickled veggies fresh from the garden sounds like a nice gift to take home. :)Bumble Lush Gardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15729677514605178020noreply@blogger.com
